Homeowners often cannot see what a repair should cost before they hire. Lead marketplaces charge contractors per lead, whether or not the homeowner hires them. Fixt is the other model, and it is New York only.
You post a job for free and pay the accepted bid. Fixt takes 5% from the fixer payout. You pay the winning bid. There is no homeowner fee. We do not publish savings percentages or market-size figures.

Assembled the tech stack: Next.js, Supabase, Stripe Connect, and Claude AI. Built the entire marketplace from the ground up — AI diagnosis, flash bidding, bid checkout, and multi-channel agent.
Soft launch in New York. First fixers onboarded, first jobs completed, first jobs paid. The flywheel starts turning.
Fixt is serving New York. Additional markets are not open. Recurring maintenance is on the product; we do not publish a fixer headcount.
